Kidrocket v1.5 is now available to the public.
This is the final public release and has no restrictions or expiration date.

For people that are new users or upgrading from v1.0...

*v1.5 now uses an external folder for saving encrypted email data and images. A kr_files folder will be created next to the .exe on first run.

Some more new things to check out are...
    1. One-way Kids Email
Setting a ReplyTo email address in Admin > Email is required.
Kids can send email with their artwork and images, all replies come back to the parent's ReplyTo email address.

    2. Admin > TimeLock feature to limit your childs time spent on the computer.

    3. Art > Doodle now saves drawings and are available as Email attachments.

    4. New browser interface, various vocal prompts and confirmations, next/answer arrows on math flashcards...
    Lots of little stuff :)

*This release has a temporary KidSafe page for Kidrocket.org, while I finish the new kidsafe version of the site.

    Visit http://kidrocket.org/download.php to download v1.5

    Hope you like it! :)

Great program Greg, I use it in my computer classes for my 1st and 2nd grade students. Any news on a possible linux version, I'd be willing to help any way I can, we run Ubuntu here at the school, but boot into Windows 2000 for Kidrocket.

    thanks,

    Dave

    Keep up the great work!!!

Hey Dave, thats great to hear :)

My kids school was all Mac and now they're early teens, so not much use as guinea pigs anymore lol

I'm just starting on a Read/Spell section. If you have any input? I'm all ears...

Mac and Linux are both on the top of my wishlist, its looking more like next generation though.

I'm scrambling here to get a new release out for a Vista browser bug. Its almost ready and a few new features to boot.
Got caught with everything in pieces.

Input from someone in the trenches would be great! ;)
